Project Overview

Embark on a creative adventure at sea with Mandala Mania, a vibrant and inspiring quilt-making workshop designed for both artistic expression and skill building. In this hands-on experience, students will design a striking circular composition using wedge ruler techniques and either simple or Bargello-style patterns.

At the heart of each mandala is a personalized or symbolic image, surrounded by radiating rings of vivid, carefully selected fabrics. Students will learn techniques for using wedge rulers, constructing Bargello patterns, and incorporating personal meaning into their work.

Personalization Option

Participants may submit a personal image (minimum 300 DPI) to be professionally printed on fabric and used as the centerpiece of their mandala. Digital files must be submitted no later than 8 weeks prior to departure. Alternatively, students may bring a self-printed 6–8 inch fabric image with them.
